Purpose:
Gen Ignite exists to ignite a generation of young people with a fire to passionately pursue God and to empower them to practically change their world.

gnite Groups:
The 12 disciples were coached by Jesus, Timothy was mentored by Paul, and Joshua was trained by Moses. All through the Bible we see God empowering the next generation of His followers through close relationships with a Godly leader. That’s what Ignite Groups are: any group of students getting together with a trained mentor who can help us become more like Christ. It could be through a Bible study, book study, Living Room, or anything else; the options are unlimited--discipleship is the point.

tudent-Led Small Groups:
This is about us reaching our own world—no adults needed. We’ve got all the creativity, hobbies, and passion we need to influence our friends. So what makes you different? Love football? Music-lover? Crazy about theology? Artistic? Addicted to Starbucks? Great, start a group! We’ve all been in small groups before, but these groups will be started by us and led by us—around anything that we love. [The one requirement: be in an Ignite Group. For those of us who want to start our own groups, our Ignite Group leader will give us any help we need along the way.]

allies/ Ignite Nights:
The monthly rally will be the central gathering point for everyone involved in Gen Ignite—Rush clubs, Ignite groups, student-led groups, and anyone else we reach out to. It’s where we can have a blast celebrating God with each other. We don’t think it will be long before thousands of students are showing up as a generation on fire for Jesus Christ, igniting everything it touches.
